Countries around the world are beginning to legalize cannabis for medical and recreational use. In mid-2019 Portugal legalized the use of cannabis products for medical purposes, and in January 2019 Portugal revamped its legislation to make it more workable for external vendors to enter their market LUFT has assembled a team to obtain a pharmaceutical license in Portugal; the team includes a Canadian Management.

• LUFT’s pharmaceutical license will allow distribution in Portugal and export to other European countries. The facility is projected to open in Q1 2020.

• LUFT’s Canadian facility and procedures have been developed to EU GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) Guidelines, a prerequisite for the sale of any pharmaceuticals into any countries in the EU and the EEA.

• The EU population exceeds 500 million which allows LUFT to diversify across global markets as part of our long-term growth plan.
